Whether for a one-off injury or the treatment of a longer term problem, the physiotherapy department at the Trust offers a variety of treatments to people from all walks of life. Our team of qualified staff have the experience, expertise and enthusiasm to help. The service is a recognised provider for many private health care organisations as well as the NHS. In all cases, a referral from a consultant, GP or other physiotherapist is all that is required.
Our two fully equipped physiotherapy suites situated in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, can offer exercise, rehabilitation, electrotherapy and massage. Treatments in our hydrotherapy pool are frequently recommended to assist with post operative rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery or for the management of acute and chronic conditions. This service is often of particular value to patients with impaired mobility who have experienced limited rehabilitation through traditional physiotherapy treatments. All our physiotherapy staff are hydrotherapy specialists and apply their expertise to a range of muscular-skeletal conditions. A hydraulic hoist ensures safe access to the pool.
